Smooj is good for 150 days (5 months) after the canning date. You’ll find a batch code ((MMDDYYXXRXXXXX:XX) on the bottom of the can to help you identify the canning date.

Surprisingly, no. Smooj is shelf-stable at room temperature (<70 degrees F). However, it tastes better and lasts longer when stored cold.
